I’m very excited to announce my debut appearance at Edinburgh International Book Festival 2017! The event is ‘Fluid Love’ (with the lovely Jess Richards) on Sunday 27th August.

As part of the Royal Albert Hall's Christmas Season, For Books’ Sake are presenting a late night End of Year Special of That’s What She Said.

Shortlisted for Best Spoken Word Night in the UK at the 2017 Saboteur Awards, That’s What She Said showcases the best new writing and performance by women, featuring established and emerging authors with a mix of performance, poetry, storytelling, slam and more.

Expect fierce, feminist truth, fiction, politics and poetry from internationally renowned megababes - a night of spoken word featuring the most incendiary, intoxicating women writers and performers around

Performers will include iconic author Salena Godden, poet, and writer for the Guardian and The Huffington Post Penny Pepper, award-winning literary hero Rosie Garland and artist and social activist Reece Lyons.

The LGBTQ Life Research Hub is please to announce that the 2017 International Lesbian Lives conference will be held at the University of Brighton, UK, 24-25 February 2017.
..and I’m delighted that I have been invited to present a paper on ‘Vixen’, with a separately-programmed reading from the novel. Both Sessions are scheduled for the morning of Saturday 25th February.
The theme for the 2017 Lesbian Lives Conference is Lesbian Love/s. The 23rd edition of this conference is hosted by the University of Brighton LGBT and Queer Life Research Hub in conjunction with feminist scholars from University College Dublin.

Regarding Women - Portrait Gallery

Amid a collection of art works dominated by the male perspective, three writers present new work on women looking at themselves, interrogating the way they are depicted, and considering what it is to be a woman in the world. Kate Feld, Rosie Garland and Lara Williams will perform fiction, lyric essay and poetry in an event specially produced for Wonder Women.

This event is part of Wonder Women, Manchester's annual feminist festival. From 3-13 March 2016, we celebrate the women's movement born in our city through film, art, music, walking tours, gallery takeovers, comedy and debate, asking how far we've come in 100 years – and how far we have yet to go.
