TWO reviews (in Historia Magazine & Northern Soul) of ‘Making Thunder Roar’ at the Brontë Parsonage Museum, and both say great things about my commissioned poem: “Stand-outs are Rosie Garland’s fiery poem, which perfectly captures Emily’s small world and her all-consuming creative drive”

Plus - here's a picture of the display case and my poem in-situ. Enjoy!

Bronte 200 commission!

Bronte 200 commission

A proud moment. It’s an honour to announce that I’ve been commissioned to write a piece for the Bronte 200 bicentenary celebrations! I was asked to respond to some of Emily Bronte’s personal possessions and my imagination was sparked…
I’ll be joining other stunning writers to unveil our work at a special preview event of the new exhibition ‘Making Thunder Roar: Emily Bronte’. This will be in Haworth on the evening of Friday 2nd February 2018.

Check out the Gig List page for further details!
